We’re Hiring | Technical Sales Executive – Coatings & Specialty Chemical Raw Materials (Saudi Arabia)

CHEMTEC is expanding its footprint in Saudi Arabia and is seeking a senior, well-connected Technical Sales Executive  to grow its portfolio of best-in-class specialty chemical raw materials  for the coatings and related industries .


This role is designed for professionals who are already active in the Saudi market , understand customers, products, and competition, and can add immediate commercial and technical value .

  • Colorants & Pigments: Vibrantz Technologies & Birla Carbon


  • Tinting Systems: COROB  (part of Graco Group )


  • Cellulose Ethers (HEC, HPMC, HEMC): DK Finechem


  • Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂): The Chemours Company


  • Biocides: Chemipol


  • Aluminum Silicate: IQE Group


  • Testing Charts: Leneta


  • Color Communication & Standards: NCS (Natural Color System)

Ideal Candidate Profile


First Preference

  • Professionals currently or previously working with manufacturers or distributors  supplying similar raw material portfolios to the coatings, inks, powder coatings, or construction chemicals industries


Second Preference

  • Technical, R&D, or sourcing professionals from major coatings or construction chemical producers  with strong product knowledge and a desire to move into a commercial role


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and grow sales of CHEMTEC’s specialty raw material portfolio in Saudi Arabia


  • Leverage an existing network of customers and decision-makers


  • Identify and develop new key accounts and long-term partnerships


  • Provide technical support, application guidance, and product positioning


  • Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and on-site trials


  • Coordinate closely with international principals and suppliers


  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and customer needs


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field


  • Minimum 5 years of experience  in technical sales or technical/commercial roles within the coatings industry


  • Strong understanding of raw materials and their applications


  • Active industry network in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region


  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong advantage)


  • Self-motivated, commercially driven, and comfortable working independently
