Role Overview
The TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS SPECIALIST will serve as the “Technical Backbone of the Sales Team”, ensuring they are fully equipped to advise clients on electrical tools solutions. This role blends deep technical product knowledge with marketing insights to support sales enablement, customer training, and industry engagement. The Specialist will collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients to translate technical expertise into actionable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Enablement & Sales Support
- Equip the sales team with in-depth technical knowledge of electrical tools, applications, and industry best practices.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops for both sales staff and customers.
- Collaborate with clients’ engineers and project managers to assess site requirements and recommend optimal solutions.
- Conduct product trials, application demonstrations, and on-site technical support where required.
- Coach, mentor, and strategize with sales staff to improve technical competency and customer engagement.
- Schedule and conduct after-sales training sessions for customers.
Marketing & Product Support
- Support marketing initiatives including trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional product demonstrations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AABTools’ product portfolio, competitor offerings, and market trends.
- Develop technical content, guides, and documentation to aid sales and customer understanding.
Customer & Market Interaction
- Identify potential customers and project sites, tracking progress and maintaining relationships.
- Address technical customer queries and resolve product-related issues promptly.
- Document insights from customer visits, market trends, and competitor activity for internal reporting and strategy refinement.
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with procurement, service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of solutions.
- Contribute to overall business growth by supporting the sales strategy with technical expertise.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical product support, product marketing, or sales enablement in tools, machinery, or industrial solutions.
- Strong understanding of electrical tools, industrial applications, or construction equipment is highly desirable.
- Experience creating technical presentations, workshops, or customer training is a plus.
