Technical Support Representative

Location: Sarasota, FL (On‑site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM EST
Department: Marketing – Product & Applications Group
Lovibond® is seeking a Technical Support Representative I to serve as the first point of contact for customer technical support. This role provides product, application, and troubleshooting support for Lovibond instruments while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Do:
  • Respond to customer support inquiries via phone, email, video call, and web form
  • Troubleshoot instruments, software, data, and chemistry-related issues
  • Conduct post-sale product training and assist with product documentation
  • Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the CRM system
  • Manage repair quotes, returns, warranties, and instrument registrations
  • Create reports on support trends and recurring issues
  • Collaborating with Sales, Quality, Operations, and Product teams
  • Provide feedback to support continuous product and process improvement
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of customer service or technical support experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering-related field
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation
  • Spanish or other multilingual skills a plus
Physical & Work Requirements:
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting to 20 lbs.
  • Full-time, on-site position
