We are seeking a proactive and energetic Plaza IT & Technical Support Technician to join our toll operations team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in intelligent transportation infrastructure, hardware support, and field networking. You will be responsible for ensuring zero downtime across our toll lanes, booth workstations, and on-site hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot toll lane hardware, including RFID readers, automatic barriers, and receipt printers.
- Handle desktop computer hardware tasks (assembling PCs, upgrading RAM/SSDs, and installing Windows OS/drivers) inside toll booths and plaza offices.
- Assist in cleaning, aligning, and troubleshooting lane CCTV cameras and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems.
- Perform basic network patching, cable routing (Cat6), and verify lane-to-server connectivity.
- Provide rapid first-line technical support to lane operators during operational shifts to prevent traffic delays.
Requirements:
- Education: DAE / Technical Diploma in Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Hardware, or equivalent.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience. Fresh graduates with strong hands-on technical skills are highly welcome.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of computer hardware troubleshooting, network crimping/testing, and electrical safety.
- Attributes: Must be physically fit, willing to work in outdoor environments/toll lanes, and comfortable with rotational shifts.
Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs42,000.00 per hour
