Technician (Mechanical)

- Operate and maintain lathe machines for precision machining of mechanical parts.

- Fabricate machine components as per engineering drawings and specifications.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment.

- Identify wear and tear, replace parts, and make necessary adjustments.

- Ensure proper alignment, levelling, and calibration of mechanical systems.

- Maintain workshop tools and ensure safety compliance.

- Collaborate with the engineering team on mechanical design improvements.

- Keep detailed documentation of all maintenance and repair work.

REQUIREMENTS

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Fitter/Machinist certification.

- Strong hands-on experience in conventional lathe operations.

- Skilled in fabrication, turning, threading, and finishing techniques.

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.

- Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious attitude.

- Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic, and welding (preferred).

- Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of liquid filling, sachet, and tube filling machines, as well as mixers, gears, and motors.

- Proficient in ensuring smooth equipment performance, reducing downtime, and improving machine reliability.
