Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on LPG systems, including pipelines, tanks, vaporizers, PRDP units, valves, regulators, and meters.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in the LPG system components.
- Replace or repair defective parts such as gaskets, seals, fittings, and regulators.
- Check for gas leaks, pressure drops, and system irregularities using appropriate tools.
- Conduct routine inspections of LPG systems at residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Identify early signs of wear and tear or potential system failures and report findings.
- Ensure all mechanical equipment operates within approved safety parameters.
- Ensure adherence to UAE Civil Defense and international LPG safety standards.
- Implement HSE procedures during maintenance and emergency repair activities.
- Maintain safe work practices while working in hazardous and high-pressure environments.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and service records.
- Report daily activities, service needs, and system performance to the maintenance supervisor or manager.
- Coordinate with the electrical and installation teams for integrated maintenance schedules.
- Use appropriate mechanical tools, gas detectors, pressure gauges, and testing kits.
- Maintain tools and ensure they are in proper working condition.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2–5 years of UAE experience in LPG maintenance and mechanical systems (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance of LPG systems, including vaporizers, tanks, and piping.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing gas leaks, regulator issues, and valve malfunctions.
- Familiarity with pressure testing, purging, and gas flow regulation procedures.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor, confined, and high-risk environments.
- Basic communication skills for reporting and coordination.
