Techno-Commercial Head – Sales

Location: Africa (based in or with extensive experience in African markets)

Industry: Steel - Manufacturing – Billets / TMT / Structure. Key

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the regional sales team to meet growth and revenue targets.

-Conducting daily/weekly meetings with the production teams and be on top of all updates to manage the team well.

- Strategic thinking with analytical problem-solving at the production, sales levels.

- Excellent liaising skills with the local government bodies.

- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand customer base across African markets.

- Handle end to end techno commercial discussions and contract closures.

- Identify and convert new business opportunities through various sales and marketing channels.

- Maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding and addressing their needs.

- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management.

- Work closely with internal teams (operations, logistics, finance) for smooth deal execution.

- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree in relevant field would be an added advantage).

- 8 to 10 years of proven sales experience in Africa (preferably in steel/recycling/manufacturing/Trading).

- Should fall between 40-50 years of age bracket.

- Strong techno commercial background with ability to understand product and contract terms.

- Industry knowledge in steel profiles or steel structures is preferred.

- ERP/software proficiency is required.

- Fluent in Hindi, French and English is a must (written and spoken).

- Excellent negotiation, team management, interpersonal & communication skills.

- Expert in the law of the land.

- Self driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership capabilities.

Pay: AED11,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
