Account Executive – Frozen Food Industry

Job Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing assigned customer accounts within the frozen food category. This role focuses on driving sales, expanding distribution, executing promotions, and strengthening relationships with retail, foodservice, or distributor partners. The ideal candidate understands frozen food supply chains, category management, and the unique operational requirements of temperature-controlled products.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Account Management

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of retail, foodservice, and/or distributor accounts
  • Achieve sales targets, volume goals, and margin objectives
  • Develop annual account plans, forecasts, and promotional calendars
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand product distribution

Customer Relationships

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Build strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and operations teams
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, contracts, and shelf placement
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance analysis

Category & Market Execution

  • Execute product launches, promotions, and merchandising initiatives
  • Collaborate with marketing and trade marketing teams on in-store and digital campaigns
  • Monitor category trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and brand standards

Operations & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and production teams to ensure on-time delivery
  • Manage inventory levels, forecasts, and demand planning
  • Address service issues related to frozen storage, transportation, or order fulfillment
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, quality, and cold-chain standards

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track sales performance, promotional effectiveness, and KPIs
  • Prepare forecasts, reports, and presentations for internal and customer meetings
  • Use CRM and sales analytics tools to manage accounts and pipeline

QualificationsRequired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of sales or account management experience (CPG preferred)
  • Experience in frozen foods, refrigerated foods, or temperature-controlled products
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint

Preferred

  • Experience selling to grocery retailers, club stores, or foodservice operators
  • Knowledge of category management, planograms, and trade spend
  • Understanding of frozen food manufacturing and cold-chain logistics
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
