Position Title:
Director – Parks & Zones Technology Solutions
Summary
This role is responsible for shaping and delivering technology solutions that enhance the performance, competitiveness, and sustainability of large-scale economic parks and free zones. The Director will drive digital platforms, automation, IoT, and smart infrastructure initiatives, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational strategy. The focus is on creating seamless digital experiences for tenants and investors while advancing enterprise-wide digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of tenant systems, digital portals, IoT-enabled infrastructure, and automation tools.

Implement data-driven operations with advanced analytics, dashboards, and decision-support tools to optimize utilization and efficiency.

Ensure regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and system security across all IT solutions.

Oversee feasibility studies, business cases, and ROI analysis for new tech investments in parks and zones.

Champion innovation across free zone ecosystems, including cloud adoption, AI, and RPA initiatives.

Integrate core IT systems (ERP, CRM, Billing, Tenant Management) with external partner and government platforms.

Provide hands-on leadership across the development lifecycle—architecture, testing, deployment, and governance.

Define KPIs and continuously improve uptime, adoption rates, and customer experience.

Manage internal teams and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.
Technical Competencies

Zone/Park IT ecosystems: tenant management, billing, CRM, ERP, and portals.

Smart infrastructure and IoT (utilities, access management, surveillance).

Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS applications.

API and data integration with external stakeholders (govt., banks, partners).

Data lakes, BI dashboards, and advanced analytics.

Cybersecurity frameworks and compliance in free zone environments.

IT architecture, scalability, and digital transformation leadership.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field. MBA in Technology Management is a plus.

Experience:
12+ years in IT leadership roles, ideally in smart city, free zone, or large-scale infrastructure technology programs. Proven ability to deliver digital transformation initiatives.
