Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $18.32 - Midpoint: $21.97 (Hourly N4)

Department/Organization: 204112 - E-Tech

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: The Technology Inventory and Purchasing Associate coordinates procurement and inventory processes for technology devices, particularly computers and iPads. Makes technology purchases for all of the college including annual computer replacements, research and grant funded purchases, and tablets. Ensures departmental technology needs are met. Utilizes spare devices and parts efficiently. Assists with navigating University purchasing guidelines.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of administrative experience; OR associate’s degree.

Skills and Knowledge: Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Effective communication skills with the ability to establish relationships with external vendors and across the institution. Knowledge of current computer hardware as well as other technologies. Ability to work as part of a larger technology team within the College.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with university policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory management. Experience in a similar role within an academic environment. Experience conducting audits and assessments to ensure inventory accuracy. Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities. Basic understanding of technology hardware options. Experience in purchasing and experience with financial systems such as Concur, ideally in an educational or institutional setting.
