Telecom/ VoIP NOC Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled VOIP NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team and contribute to the monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of our global telecommunications network.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain VOIP systems, network services, and overall infrastructure performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve VOIP-related issues, including call quality, latency, packet loss, jitter, and connectivity problems.
• Provide timely technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze network performance and proactively identify potential service disruptions.
• Work with industry-standard protocols such as SIP, RTP, TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN technologies.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers and collaborate on effective resolutions.
• Maintain accurate incident logs, network documentation, and operational reports.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Network Operations, VOIP Support, Technical Support, or a similar role.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with VOIP technologies and protocols such as SIP and RTP will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts and provide operational support when required.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
