Role: Telemedicine Expert / Tele Consultant / Telesales

Department: Virtual Consultation & Patient Success

Objective:

To guide patients with expert advice on hair loss, scalp conditions, treatment protocols, lifestyle management, and product usage. Ensure high-quality consultations, improved treatment adherence, and elevated patient satisfaction.

1. Role Overview

The On-Call Expert Consultant acts as the first expert touchpoint for potential patients and active treatment users. They provide scientific, empathetic, and personalized advice that helps in:

  • Accurate diagnosis
  • Protocol recommendation
  • Product guidance
  • Adherence improvement
  • Weekly and monthly patient follow-ups
  • Conversion from inquiry → consultation → treatment

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Patient Consultation

  • Conduct teleconsultations (audio/video) to understand patient concerns.
  • Assess symptoms using structured questionnaires, scalp images, and medical history.
  • Recommend treatment protocol (products, medicines, lifestyle changes).
  • Educate patients on expected timelines, outcomes, and do’s/don’ts.

B. Follow-ups & Adherence

  • Conduct periodic check-ins (weekly/monthly) to track progress.
  • Modify usage guidelines based on improvement or issues.
  • Address concerns, side effects, or doubts promptly.

C. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with dermatologists for escalated cases.
  • Update CRM with case notes, recommendations, and follow-up schedule.
  • Collaborate with product team for feedback on formulations.

D. Tele-Sales Support

  • Guide patients to choose the right treatment plan.
  • Improve conversion through trust-building communication.
  • Inspire confidence and clarity in product usage.

E. Patient Satisfaction & Retention

  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new patients.
  • Build rapport and trust with returning patients.
  • Resolve issues quickly and empathetically.

F. Compliance & Ethics

  • Follow medical compliance guidelines for prescribing/identifying red flags.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data protection protocols.
