Telesales Officer - Outsource (3816)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Conduct phone calls to clients using the relevant agreed upon script to sell, cross sell, build and maintain relations with the existing and potential customers to achieve the set targets.
  • Adhere to the pre-set quality standards to provide consistent and a high-quality service to all customers to better enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure reviewing the received documents from the Runners in a timely manner to maintain accurate records in alignment with work policies and procedures before submitting them to the Telesales Support Officers.
  • Track and report the daily activities and report it to the Telesales Supervisor in order to support further decision making.
  • Attend daily, weekly and monthly meetings with the Telesales Supervisor to ensure that the pre-set objectives are met and propose any enhancements to the process.
  • Follow all the relevant approved department’s policies, process and standard operating procedures and instructions sot that work is carried out in a control manner
  • Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Telesales department to ensure continuity of work
  • Maintain a punctual and consistent attendance, professional appearance & adherence to all relevant health & safety procedures
  • Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal EG Bank policies and code of conduct to maintain EG Bank’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or its equivalence.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience, preferred exposure in Telesales, Contact Center or a related field
  • Experience within Banking Industry will be considered as an asset
