Temporary Administrative Assistant (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Concourse House, HDFC is a not-for-profit managing several City Contracts inclusive of Social Services and Early Childhood Education and is seeking an Administrative Assistant who possess the skills to work in a busy office setting. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Director as well as the management team.

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Respond to internal and external emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform general administrative duties and office support tasks
  • Maintain and update records related to family intake and discharge
  • Track and calculate staff PTO balances
  • Prepare daily attendance and absence reports
  • Coordinate and log incoming donations
  • Create flyers, memos, and internal communications
  • Assist with employee onboarding and termination processes
  • Manage paperwork related to employee insurance benefits
  • Place supply orders through various vendors for multiple contracts
  • Work directly with the Executive Director and collaborate with department managers
  • Perform additional administrative duties as needed

Spanish a plus.

In-person position

Pay: $23.00 per hour
