Position: Temporary Building Secretary - Bookkeeper
Schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
North Marion Intermediate School is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Secretary - Bookkeeper to support the daily operations of the school office in a temporary role through the end of the 2025-26 school year, with the potential for additional fall dates to be determined. This position serves as a key point of contact for students, families, staff, and community members, providing professional and welcoming customer service while helping ensure the office runs smoothly.
The Office Assistant supports building administrators and staff with a wide range of clerical, bookkeeping, and student support responsibilities. This includes managing financial accounts, maintaining accurate records, assisting with student registration and attendance processes, and helping coordinate communication across the school community.
Successful candidates will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and supportive school environment for students and families.
