Job Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and leadership in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function and supports the HR Directors to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of Elevate. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about internal and external objectives department midrange plans, and Company culture. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Consults with all levels of leadership, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership including, coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions.
- Works closely with leadership and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Partners with leadership to investigate and address off the clock work.
- Assists with job description requests including review, creation, and tasks associated with Company initiatives or assignments.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs; assists HR team with development and presentation of HR-led live training.
- Partners with HR Generalists to ensure deadlines are being met on time sensitive tasks, including but not limited to unemployment responses, and employee investigations.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Assists with reporting and auditing data.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ of human resources experience required, specifically in the areas of employee relations, analytics, and process improvement.

- Remote and Hybrid positions require home internet connections that meet the company’s upload and download speed criteria.
