Job Summary
The Reading, Education, and Development (READ) Lab at Northwestern University is seeking a temporary part-time Project Coordinator for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:
· The Project Coordinator will oversee daily operations of lab- and project-related activities. This includes maintaining detailed records of protocols and results (collecting, extracting, and entering data) and helping to ensure that all lab- and project-related activities are completed by strictly following all current local, state, and federal laws, regulations, guidance, policy, and procedure(s) developed by the Northwestern University Institutional Review Board (IRB).
· Supports efforts to recruit and assess study participants and facilitate communication with key personnel and participants to maintain project study flow. This includes reviewing and obtaining informed consent and assent, scheduling study visits, preparing assessment materials, leading assessment team(s) to travel to and from schools/community centers, and scoring and entering test results.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:
· Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study from an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's degree or higher degree in a major such as psychology, education, or related field
· Experience working with children
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
· Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
· Completion of Northwestern University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) CITI training before interacting with participants and re-certification every 3 years
· Availability for at least 1 year
