Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant (Research) in the Department of Medicine – Infectious Disease within the New Jersey Medical School (NJMS).
The Temporary Assistant (Research) will perform data management and programming tasks. The data management tasks include using SAS programming language for quality assurance of collected data (clinical, laboratory, demographic), using Tableau software for creating and maintain dashboards, routine data management tasks for data transmitted from the international sites, manuscript development, proposal assistance and other relevant scientific activities.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Works with Data Managers and research coordinators to develop SAS scripts for quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Works with our staff and stakeholders to create ad hoc databases for analysis using programming language.
- Creates and maintains interactive dashboards on Tableau under DOMC staff supervision.
- Works with investigators, statisticians and study coordinators in design and set-up of case report forms (CRFs) for specific clinical, translational, and basic science protocols.
- Assists study coordinators and data managers in preparing appropriate and detailed standard operating procedures, training manuals and other materials for study conduct and data collection in the clinic, field and laboratory.
Salary Details
$18.00 per hour
