Key responsibilities
- Review tender notices, RFQs, and bid invitations from government portals and private clients, and summarize key requirements and deadlines.
- Prepare, compile, and format tender documentation, including technical offers, commercial offers, compliance forms, and supporting certificates.
- Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial, legal, and finance teams to finalize tender submissions.
- Manage pre-qualification and registration documents with ministries and major clients in Qatar.
- Maintain an organized database of tenders, clarifications, submissions, and awards for tracking and audit purposes.
- Prepare standard documents such as quotations, proposals, letters, and price lists as required by the sales or business development team.
- Monitor tender addenda, clarifications, and client communications, and update internal stakeholders accordingly.
- Follow up on submitted tenders, record results, and support negotiations or contract finalization when required.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is commonly required in Qatar.
- 2–5 years’ experience in tendering, proposals, sales coordination, or contracts administration, preferably within construction, facilities management, oil & gas, or trading sectors.
- Strong knowledge of tender procedures and documentation used in Qatar, including government e-tender portals and major private clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail for reviewing and preparing documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and good document formatting and data management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
