Tender Executive

Zirakpur, India

The Tender Executive is responsible for identifying, preparing, submitting, and managing tenders, bids, and proposals for government and private sector projects. The role involves coordination with internal departments, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, maintaining documentation, and tracking submission deadlines to secure successful bids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and track relevant tenders through government portals, e-procurement sites, and private tender platforms.
  • Analyze tender documents to understand requirements, terms, and conditions.
  • Prepare and compile all necessary documents, including technical and financial proposals, as per tender specifications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (accounts, legal, technical, sales) to gather required data and approvals.
  • Ensure timely submission of tenders and manage post-submission queries or clarifications.
  • Maintain an organized record of all submitted and pending tenders, bids, and quotations.
  • Handle tender fee payments, EMDs (Earnest Money Deposits), and BG (Bank Guarantees) documentation.
  • Follow up with clients or government departments for updates and results of tender submissions.
  • Prepare MIS reports and maintain tender status trackers.
  • Review tender results, analyze win/loss data, and assist in improving future bid strategies.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of e-tendering portals (like GeM, CPPP, eProcure, state portals, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good analytical and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with government and corporate procurement processes

Qualification & Experience

  • Education: Graduate in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in tendering, bidding, or similar roles (freshers with strong technical/commercial knowledge may also apply)

Preferred Background

  • Experience in industries like construction, real estate, engineering, IT, or services dealing with government and institutional clients.
  • Knowledge of digital signature handling, EMDs, and online bid submission.

As per industry standards and experience.
