Tendering & Engineering Executive

We are looking for a highly motivated Tendering & Engineering Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and proven experience managing the complete tendering process for large-scale projects, preferably within the commercial kitchen equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full tendering process from receipt of inquiry to final submission.
• Review tender documents, specifications, BOQs, drawings, and project requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in accordance with client requirements.
• Coordinate with the engineering, estimation, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate and competitive submissions.
• Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimations, and pricing analysis.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure all tender submissions are completed accurately and submitted within deadlines.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and technical clarification meetings when required.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders regarding technical and commercial queries.
• Support project handover to the execution team upon award.
• Maintain tender records, supplier databases, and project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tendering and estimation for large-scale projects.
• Previous experience in the commercial kitchen equipment industry is essential.
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen layouts, equipment specifications, and project execution.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
