Position : Terminal and flat store manager (Feed mill and bulk and silos experience is must)
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- B.Sc. in business management, supply chain management, engineering or any relevant field.
- MUST have at least 10 years of progressive experience in warehousing, silos operations management, bulk materials management. In which a minim of 5 years as managerial level.
- Must have a clear understanding of grain silos operations and management.
- Prior experience in Grains Handling & Storage.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating and managing grain silos, grains & bulk materials flat stores, liquid materials tanks inventories, storage and operations (i.e. molasses, edible oil, Fuel...etc.).
- Responsible for ensuring smooth grain silos operations according to operating manual while maintaining high operational efficiency and assets durability.
- Control the process of grains receiving, transferring and dispatching through intake, while reporting quantities at all times.
- Responsible to investigate and analyze operational malfunctions and take the necessary decision on the spot, while achieving operational streamlining and controlled cost and material & assets safety.
- Manage the operations of the grains bagging lines in-line and close coordination with the sales, fleet & transportation and maintenance departments.
- Control and managing end-to-end grains bagging operations while maintaining high and required productivity levels at all times.
- Manage the grains inventory & operations at silos according to the set plans and in close coordination with production department and logistics units.
- Coordinate with maintenance department in case of any required inspection, maintenance or modification as well as managing operations while preventive maintenance is planned.
- Manage the silos and flat stores utilization and storage conditions (i.e. fumigation, fans operating, shuffling...etc.) at all times.
- Responsible for controlling and ensuring accurate stock & inventory movements daily for grain silos, grains flat stores, liquid materials tanks (i.e. molasses, edible oil, Fuel...etc.) at different locations.
- Responsible for ensuring product cards are always updated and placed at the right place inside the flat store linked to the inventory at system and reports at all times.
- Responsible for daily check and visiting the whole sites and storage areas at the terminal & flat stores as well as outside related storage facilities on a regular basis.
- Manage the operation of scales operations ensuring streamlining of the operations, capturing weights, reporting on trucks movement through the weigh bridge (i.e. by material/truck/transaction type…etc.), updating required declaration (i.e. through close coordination with other cross-functional departments such as fleet & transportation) and conditions for in-bound, out-bound and in-house trucks loading & offloading operations.
- Responsible for assuring proper receiving, dispatching and transfer of material while capturing the weights and inventory conditions at all movements as per given timelines in the SOP’s.
- Responsible through the team to avail proper documentation of receiving, dispatching and transfer of materials as well as to always make sure physical inventory is matching stock records at system and reports.
- Ensure the process of receiving, dispatching and transfer are well coordinated with internal cross functional departments avoiding any delay in the process.
- Manage the level of inventory waste/losses/shrinkage as defined and agreed tolerance while highlighting & reporting any losses with adequate and acceptable justification monthly and at any event and on time.
- Responsible for providing monthly stock reporting for all materials stock positions, received, dispatched and by location.
- Manage and responsible for inventory safety and quantities controls especially in the case of outside yards.
- Responsible for arranging warehousing availability based on the incoming material plan and ensuring operational plans for receiving any materials are well prepared in advance and aligned with the team.
- Responsible for managing capacity utilization and planning throughout inventory lifecycle and materials nature.
- Responsible for managing relationships with 2PL, logistics service providers and storage facilities as well as negotiating commercial and technical terms to deliver the best value of the storage.
- Responsible for coordinating with vessel agents, logistics & transportation departments on smooth vessel discharging at agreed, contracted and targeted rates.
- Ensuring POs are receipts on time while coordinating the necessary approvals internally (i.e. Q.C, maintenance…etc.).
- Responsible for managing inventory life cycle inside the warehouse as well as FIFO methodology while reporting on a weekly basis the stock aging days.
- Responsible and accountable for the operating cost at the terminal & flat stores departments throughout achieving high productivity & efficiency, and high utilization of the resources.
- Responsible to manage, guide, lead, train and motivate the team at different levels while ensuring high productivity and efficiency operational schedules are well maintained and distributed.
- Responsible to coordinate labors availability and work on optimizing the manpower cost through continues improvement on automation.
- Responsible for complying with SFDA regulations while achieving business sustainability.
- Ensure end-users and concerned departments are informed about the inventory level daily.
- Manage warehouse access to authorized people only and ensure the safety of any person inside the terminal & flat stores.
- Responsible for coordinating with support departments on the security of the different sites apart of warehouses and storage facilities.
- Responsible to coordinate and manage the available mechanical resources in coordination with other cross-functional departments (i.e. conveyors, generators, loaders…etc.).
- Responsible to ensure safety of the people (i.e. transporters and client’s representatives) and manpower at all levels and across different areas at the terminal and flat stores.
- Ensure close coordination and integration between other supply chain and operation departments to deliver integrated and efficient end-to-end supply chain.
- Coordinate the handling equipment’s requirements with fleet & transportation unit while assuring safety of warehousing & inventory practices, safety standards and handling equipment safety.
