Terminal Operations Manager

Gatronova is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager – Terminal Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our terminal facilities across Keamari and Port Qasim. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant terminal operations while supporting commercial objectives, asset reliability, and operational excellence. You will manage terminal operations across multiple chemical storage facilities, ensuring efficient product handling, inventory control, asset maintenance, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with commercial, logistics, and plant teams, you will help optimize terminal utilization, service levels, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Business Support

• Support initiatives to maximize tank and warehouse utilization through third-party storage opportunities
• Assist in implementing pricing, contract execution, and revenue optimization strategies
• Coordinate with commercial teams to ensure high levels of customer service and operational support

Terminal Operations Management

• Manage daily terminal activities including receipts, storage, dispatches, and inventory reconciliation
• Ensure accurate stock management, gain/loss monitoring, and reporting
• Identify and implement operational efficiency improvements and process enhancements

Asset Integrity & Maintenance

• Oversee maintenance and reliability of tanks, pipelines, pumps, and loading facilities
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Support infrastructure upgrades, repairs, and shutdown planning activities

Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate with plant, logistics, fleet, and commercial teams to ensure uninterrupted product movement
• Support vessel planning, scheduling, and inventory management activities

Safety, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs

• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in audits, inspections, and safety improvement initiatives
• Promote a strong safety culture across terminal operations

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

• Review and process operational documentation including PRs, POs, transport billing, and stock transfer records
• Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements

Team Leadership

• Supervise and develop terminal operations personnel across multiple sites
• Drive accountability, operational discipline, and performance management within the team
• Provide coaching and support to ensure continuous development of staff

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline
• 7–10 years of experience in terminal operations, bulk storage, logistics, or industrial operations
• Exposure to chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial storage environments preferred
• Strong understanding of terminal operations, inventory management, maintenance coordination, and HSE requirements
• Good commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience leading operational teams and driving performance improvements
