Territory Manager/ASM (Paint/ Chemical Industry)

The TM/ASM will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our range of paint products to both existing and potential customers. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the paint industry.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to increase repeat business.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team on market demands and product improvements.
  • Client Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to address client needs and concerns.
  • Sales Reporting:
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to clients.
  • Negotiation & Closing:
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and closure of sales opportunities.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to address any product-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the paint or chemical industry.
  • Strong understanding of the paint industry and its market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
