We are currently looking to fill a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) role. The TSM is responsible for owning and growing their multi-million-dollar book of business on the West Coast. This person is expected to attain a thorough understanding of all customer needs and develop solutions that meet their objectives with our portfolio of products and services while achieving sales targets. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude and a curious nature. This is a hybrid role and will require the candidate to work on-site in the Farmingdale office three days a week. However, we are open to considering candidates based on the west coast.

Responsibilities:
- Achieving the overall sales objectives and targets established for all D’Addario brands with assigned accounts
-
Developing and implementing overall sales and marketing strategy for the assigned territory including co-op advertising, merchandising, regional events, identifying key market influencers, sales training and more
- Tracking and analyzing sales progress against objectives, key competitor activity, and sales opportunities within assigned territory and communicating significant issues to management

New product presentations and/or product training with store staff, road reps, call centers, etc, and including Product Management team when needed

Regularly train the staff of key customers, including in-store and telemarketing personnel

Regular travel to key accounts in the region

Keep all key accounts fully informed of programs, policies, price changes and news regarding D’Addario and its brands

Assist in the development of the annual sales targets for region

Maintain a comprehensive understanding and awareness of the retail marketplace and all significant competitive activity in the region.

Work closely with the Product Managers, Product Specialists and other team members to build brand and sales success
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
-
A strong background selling to retail accounts

At least three years of experience managing a multi-million-dollar portfolio with a high volume of clients

The ability to quantitatively analyze and interpret sales data, a willingness and desire to routinely visit all key accounts and a desire to assume full responsibility for regional performance are required.

Experience using CRM systems preferred

A strong interest in music is required

Willingness to travel as needed to key accounts
The base salary range for this role would be commensurate with experience: $70k to $79k per year
