Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Salesman with proven experience in the pipe industry, particularly in PPRC pipes, uPVC pipe & fittings, and water tanks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing and expanding distribution/dealership networks in the local market. This role involves achieving sales targets, developing strong relationships with distributors/dealers, and providing technical support to clients when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, and retailers.
- Promote and sell PPRC & uPVC pipes, fittings, and water tanks in the local market.
- Identify and onboard new dealers and distributors to expand market reach.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to devise competitive sales strategies.
- Ensure the availability of products at dealer/distributor points through effective supply chain coordination.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets as assigned by the management.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support including technical advice, demonstrations, and training.
- Conduct field visits regularly to monitor stock levels, collect feedback, and address dealer/distributor concerns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional activities and branding in the local market.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the pipe industry, particularly in PPRC, uPVC products, and water tanks.
- Strong network and understanding of the local distribution/dealership market.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with local market dynamics, customer preferences, and pricing strategies.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region.
