Territory Sales Representative

Output Sales Corporation is hiring a Territory Sales Representative to grow our business across Central and Southeast Ohio. This is an outside sales role focused on building long-term relationships with wholesale distributors, contractors, and engineers while driving demand for the manufacturers we represent. The role is based in the Columbus metro area and requires regular travel throughout the territory.

Output Sales Corporation is a manufacturers’ representative agency serving the pipe, valves, and fittings market across the plumbing, industrial, municipal, and HVAC industries. We have been in business for more than 40 years and serve Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania. Our headquarters is in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and we operate D2D Warehouse in Marysville, Ohio to support our customers with strong regional service.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow sales across Central and Southeast Ohio
  • Call on wholesale distributors, contractors, and engineers throughout the territory
  • Build long-term customer relationships and strengthen account coverage
  • Identify project opportunities and help drive business with the manufacturers we represent
  • Work closely with the inside sales team to support strong customer service and follow-through
  • Document customer activity, opportunities, and results in the CRM system

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of outside sales, distribution, or related experience in the pipe, valves, and fittings, plumbing, mechanical, industrial, or HVAC market
  • Based in the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area
  • Strong relationship-building and territory management skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a travel-based sales schedule
  • Organized, self-directed, and consistent with follow-up and CRM usage

Travel

This role involves regular travel throughout the territory, typically 30,000 to 35,000 miles annually. Overnight travel is generally limited, with approximately 1 to 2 overnight stays per month, plus occasional additional travel for training or sales meetings.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary of $75,000
