Testing Engineer (Power Substations)

Location :Saudi Arabia

We are seeking an experienced Testing Engineer to join our team and support testing and commissioning activities for power substation projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in testing works for electrical substations.

Strong knowledge of power system testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform testing of protection systems (distance, differential, overcurrent, etc.).

Conduct testing for substation electrical equipment including transformers, cables, and circuit breakers.

Test control and protection panels.

Handle primary and secondary injection testing.

Prepare and execute test plans, test procedures, and SAT activities.

Read and interpret electrical drawings and Single Line Diagrams (SLD).

Prepare technical test reports and ensure proper documentation.

Ensure compliance with IEC and IEEE standards.

Coordinate with site teams to meet project schedules and deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience in EPC projects.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work under pressure and on-site as required.
