Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Textile Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing textile patterns, prints, and fashion apparel that reflect market trends, customer preferences, and brand identity. This role requires a strong sense of aesthetics, innovation, and a deep understanding of fabrics, colors, and textures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and forecast fashion trends, colors, patterns, and materials relevant to the textile and apparel industry.
• Create original textile and garment designs, including prints, embroideries, and fabric textures.
• Develop mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts aligned with brand strategy.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure fabric quality, print accuracy, and garment fitting.
• Prepare detailed tech packs and specifications for sample development.
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers for fabric sourcing, sampling, and production coordination.
• Maintain awareness of market competition and adapt designs to meet consumer demands.
• Present design concepts and seasonal collections to management and clients.
• Ensure all designs align with cost, quality, and production timelines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in textile or fashion design (fresh graduates with exceptional portfolios may also apply).
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or CLO 3D.
• Strong knowledge of fabric construction, dyeing, printing, and finishing techniques.
• Excellent drawing, visualization, and color sense skills.
• Ability to work creatively under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in digital printing and surface pattern design.
• Understanding of sustainable fabrics and eco-friendly production processes.
• Awareness of local and international fashion markets.
