A. Tiling Work

• Install floor and wall tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, mosaic).
• Cut tiles using hand tools or tile-cutting machines to fit corners, pipes, and fixtures.
• Prepare surfaces by leveling, cleaning, and applying adhesives or mortar.
• Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and finishing of tiles.
• Grout tiles and polish completed surfaces.

B. Blockwork

• Lay concrete blocks or bricks according to drawings and measurements.
• Prepare and apply mortar for block laying.
• Ensure straightness, alignment, and vertical/horizontal level using tools (spirit level, plumb line, etc.).
• Build internal partitions as per fit-out requirements.

C. Surface Preparation & Finishing

• Prepare subfloors and walls before tiling works.
• Perform waterproofing in wet areas where required.
• Assist in minor plastering, skimming, and leveling works.
• Repair damaged tiles, joints, and block surfaces.

D. Safety & Compliance

• Follow company safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Report any hazards, damages, or unsafe practices to the supervisor.

E. Tools & Materials Handling

• Handle all tools, equipment, and materials safely.
• Ensure proper storage of leftover materials and tools after work.
• Request needed materials from the supervisor in advance.

3. Qualifications

• Experience as a mason/tiler in interior fit-out projects (minimum 2–5 years).
• Strong skills in tiling, blockwork, and civil finishing.
• Ability to read simple drawings and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of tile types, adhesives, and proper installation methods.

4. Skills & Competencies

• Good physical stamina and hand–eye coordination.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
