Toddler Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our Montessori team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves educating preschool-aged children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth, and ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Educate children on various subjects including basic math, literacy, art, and social skills.
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that accommodates children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
• Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff members to plan activities that enhance the children's learning experiences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom and play areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education.
• Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
• Strong caregiving skills, including experience in infant care or nannying.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young minds is essential for success in this role.
