Toddler Teacher Needed

Curriculum Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored specifically for toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities, we use Frogstreet​ Curriculum, daily schedules and Routines.
  • Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among toddlers
  • Manage daily classroom routines including circle time, snack time, outdoor play, and nap schedules with effective behavior management strategies
  • Use classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and resolve conflicts constructively
  • Incorporate specialized approaches such as Montessori methods or early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that integrate curriculum development principles and support holistic childhood development

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in daycare, private school, or similar settings
  • Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education
  • Experience in curriculum implementing literacy education programs for young children
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for toddlers to promote positive social interactions.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
  • Experience with classroom management tools and standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood settings
