Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional skills.
• Foster a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management.
• Engage children in interactive activities that support classroom management, physical education, and early intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address individual needs, and support child welfare initiatives.
• Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain an organized space conducive to learning and play.
• Incorporate educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences tailored for toddlers.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing where appropriate to monitor developmental milestones and inform lesson planning.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and early intervention techniques.
• Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities for toddlers.
• Classroom experience with toddler care, including implementing lesson plans that foster social skills and cognitive growth.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children’s families.
• Familiarity with special education practices and adaptations for children with diverse learning needs is preferred.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
