Job responsibilities
- Team leadership: Supervise, schedule, and direct a team of tool and die makers and technicians, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Production and maintenance: Oversee the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of tools, dies, and fixtures to meet production requirements.
- Project management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the timely delivery of tooling projects.
- Problem-solving and process improvement: Troubleshoot tooling issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Quality and safety: Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments like engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to drive continuous improvement.
- Administration: Manage work orders, track labor hours, and use systems like SAP and other timekeeping software.
Required skills and qualifications
- Technical expertise: Extensive knowledge of tool and die making, materials, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software is often required.
- Leadership and management: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Problem-solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex issues.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with various teams.
- Attention to detail: A commitment to quality and a high level of precision.

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
