Job Summary
Katie’s Babysitting LLC is seeking a nurturing and reliable caregiver to provide occasional, as needed childcare services for families. This position involves traveling to clients’ homes to provide in home babysitting. Care is not provided in the caregiver’s home.

This role requires accepting various babysitting jobs as they arise. Schedules will vary depending on client needs and may include evenings or weekends. Availability does not need to be open for every request, and this does not need to be your only commitment.

The goal is to officially hire by June 1 or July 1 2026. At this time, I am focused on building a strong working relationship with the right person so expectations, communication, and values are aligned before starting. I may hire up to two caregivers. Each job brings a different pay, and pay range is based on experience.

Duties

• Traveling to clients’ homes to provide childcare, this ranges from anywhere 50 miles of Jarrell, Texas in any direction. For shifts more than 30 miles, per diem will be applied to your pay.
• Supervising and engaging children in age appropriate activities
• Following parent instructions, routines, and household expectations
• Providing nurturing care with patience and respect
• Using positive redirection and gentle guidance
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Communicating clearly and professionally with families
• Proven ability to foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages learning through play and exploration
• Respecting and paying close detail to food restrictions, allergies and dietary adjustments.

This role is for someone who views childcare as a serious responsibility. Children must always be spoken to with kindness and respect. Positive guidance is required at all times.
