Job Summary: Tower Technicians support all aspects of telecommunication installations including the construction and maintenance of telecommunication structures. To include ensuring that work is performed in the safest manner possible by delivering a high-quality product to our customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Climbing and working on communications towers; installing, replacing, and repairing antenna equipment
Takes direction from crew Foreman ensuring safety and quality standards are met while adhering to project budgets and timelines.
Review documentation with Foreman to prepare for the build, assemble the necessary materials, and determine the required installation methods.
Help supervise the tracking of all on-site inventory and materials.
Perform tower inspections, inventories, and audits as needed.
Collect, review, and submit all on-site closeout documentation per the deliverable timelines.
Assist training crew members on proper safety/quality standards to align with CCDP (Crew Career Development Program)
Maintain issued equipment and reported deficiencies as needed.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Telecommunications experience
Basic knowledge of how to perform fiber, sweep, and PIM testing.
Ability to operate aerial lifts, skid steers, and other heavy equipment as needed.
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to the set schedule.
Highly organized and detail-oriented

Education and Experience:

High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education
Valid driver’s license preferred with a driving record that meets Company requirements.
Ability to travel away from home, including weekends.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50 lb. load.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

Job Requirements:

Must pass a background check
Must pass a drug screen
Valid drivers license
