Trade Finance Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Trade Finance Assistant to support our trade finance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trade finance products, documentation, and processes, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. This role is essential for ensuring smooth transaction processing and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and trade loans.
- Prepare and review documentation related to international trade transactions.
- Coordinate with clients, banks, and internal teams for timely and accurate processing.
- Monitor and track the status of trade finance deals, resolving any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support senior team members in preparing reports and analysis related to trade finance activities.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations, policies, and market developments affecting trade finance.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk management policies.

Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in trade finance, banking, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of trade finance instruments, documentation, and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and trade finance software.
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Understanding of international trade regulations and compliance.
- Experience with trade finance platforms and banking systems.
