Trade Finance Product Developer (Banking Domain)

Overview

Job Title: Trade Finance Product Developer- Banking Domain

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Immediate Deployment) (Ability to travel internationally; candidates with a valid KSA business visa or USA/UK/Schengen visas will be preferred)

Duration: 3-6 months (Contract)

Responsibilities

• Create and develop all kinds of trade finance products (LCs, guarantees ) for banking clients
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor offerings, and regulatory trends
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, compliance, IT) to launch and manage products
• Prepare business cases, product documentation, and pricing strategies
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure all products comply with local and international banking regulations
• Provide training and support to relationship managers and frontline staff

Requirements

• 2+ years of deep functional experience in trade finance product development, documentation, operations, and compliance.
• Expertise in handling Import LCs, Export LCs (including Confirmations and Discounting), Guarantees, SBLCs, and Collections
• Background knowledge in Sharia-compliant trade structures (Murabaha, Wakalah, etc.)
• Strong understanding of credit facilities relevant to trade finance
• Fluent English communication skills (Arabic language skills are a plus)
