Trade Marketing Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Trade Marketing Manager to drive in-market execution, channel strategy, and sales growth across key accounts. This role bridges marketing and sales, ensuring brand strategies are effectively translated into winning execution at the point of sale, both locally and with international clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies aligned with brand and sales objectives
  • Plan and implement BTL campaigns, promotions, and in-store activations
  • Manage channel-specific strategies (Modern Trade, General Trade, Wholesale, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure effective execution and ROI tracking
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and shopper behavior to drive insights
  • Lead category management initiatives and optimize shelf visibility and placement
  • Design and monitor trade promotions, ensuring profitability and effectiveness
  • Work with supply chain to ensure product availability and smooth execution
  • Build strong relationships with key local and international clients
  • Coordinate with global/regional teams for alignment on campaigns and brand guidelines
  • Track KPIs and prepare detailed performance reports using dashboards and presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5–8 years of experience in Trade Marketing within FMCG
  • Proven experience managing Modern Trade and General Trade channels
  • Strong exposure to working with international clients and cross-border teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Experience:

  • Trade Marketing Manager: 5 years (Required)
