Traffic Officer

Job Description:

• Develop, implement, and review road traffic management plans to support traffic infrastructure projects.
• Conduct traffic studies, including flow assessments, congestion analysis, and travel time surveys.
• Analyze traffic data using GIS, BI Reports, AI solutions, Excel, and specialized software to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Design and evaluate temporary and permanent traffic schemes, including contingency plans, detours, diversions, and road signage placement.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate road safety initiatives and enforce traffic regulations.
• Respond to real-time traffic incidents and support mitigation and resolution efforts.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
• Ensure compliance with road safety standards and traffic control regulations.
• Assist in planning and executing traffic diversions during incidents, road construction, or special events.
• Contribute to long-term transportation and infrastructure development strategies.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Road Traffic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Transport Planning.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Project management expertise.
• Proficiency in presentations and advanced Excel.

Experience:

• 3–5 years in traffic operations, transport planning, or traffic data analysis.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic modeling
