Trainee AI Engineer

Veevo Tech is a product-based company having more than a decade of experience and established products and solutions within the communication segment including SMS, Voice Call, and WhatsApp.

We are seeking Trainee AI Engineer having following JD:

• Design, develop, and deploy LLM-powered applications, including chatbots, copilots, and intelligent assistants.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases, embeddings, and document ingestion workflows for enterprise-grade knowledge retrieval.
• Architect and implement Agentic AI systems capable of tool usage, planning, reasoning, and multi-step task execution.
• Develop and deploy computer vision systems using YOLO (latest versions) or similar custom object detection models.
• Handle real-time video/camera input processing and implement low-latency inference pipelines.
• Optimize AI models for real-time inference, scalability, and production deployment.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate AI solutions using modern SDKs, APIs, and AI frameworks while maintaining production-grade standards.
• Integrate AI systems with external APIs, databases, cloud services, and internal enterprise tools.
• Apply deep learning techniques including model fine-tuning, evaluation, experimentation, and performance optimization.
• Conduct research to evaluate emerging AI techniques, tools, and frameworks, and recommend adoption where appropriate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and operations to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure code quality, documentation, testing, and adherence to best practices in software development.
• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve deployed AI systems.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term AI strategy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
• Experience with object detection models (YOLO or similar) and computer vision pipelines.

This is a full-time permanent contract-bound office-based Job & the starting salary would be 35K-45K as per professional experiences + KPI allowances/bonuses, the location of the job is at VT PSH Office - Main University Road, Peshawar
