Parsons is seeking a Trainee Contract Administrator (UAE National). Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role you will perform various contract administration activities for smaller, less-complex contracts as part of a growing team.

What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting Contract Administrators in supporting Clients in the procurement of their Contractors, Consultants, Designers etc. This may involve preparing and reviewing tender documents and managing Parsons internal resources to prepare technical information to the required standard.
- Managing downstream procurement for Subconsultants procured directly for Parsons, working with the internal Parsons procurement team to ensure the Parsons procurement process is managed and adhered to accordingly.
- Managing Independent Cost Consultants on various pre and post contract projects.
- Evaluation of variation orders, EOTs, and claims and preparing reports to the Client on the Contractor entitlement.
- Providing advice to various internal and external stakeholders on matters of a contractual nature and providing contractual support, ensuring completeness and validity of all contractual requirements.
- Overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of projects and providing support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of the project, including reporting both internally and externally.
- Assessing Contractors' monthly payment applications, ensuring cost and quantity records are streamlined and maintained and providing the appropriate reports to Clients.
- Liaising with the measurement QS team for measurement-related and pricing matters.
- Ensuring that records are kept as required and at the appropriate level of detail.
- Monitoring Contractor final cost estimates.
- Any other duties as required from time to time.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commercial/Construction, Law or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of similar experience; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written skills in contractual correspondence and strong verbal communication in English.
- A ability to work autonomously, be a problem solver, and demonstrate proactive thinking.
- Drive and ambition to learn and grow within the role.
- Strong work ethics.
Desired Skills
- Experience in reading and understanding Contracts and Legal documents.
- Strong IT skills with regards to Microsoft Office Suite.
