Role Overview

We are looking for a Trainee Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 1 year of experience to gain hands-on exposure to power systems, industrial automation, installation & commissioning, and electrical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in design, analysis, and testing of electrical and power distribution systems.
• Support engineers in load calculations, system simulations, and preparation of technical drawings.

Participate in industrial installation and commissioning of:

• Switchgear panels and MCCs (Motor Control Centers)
• Power distribution equipment and substations.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting during project execution.
• Work on cable laying, terminations, and wiring under supervision.
• Assist in equipment testing, calibration, and final handover to clients.
• Contribute to technical reports, BOQs, as-built drawings, and project documentation.
• Research emerging technologies in power engineering and industrial automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant industry experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and energy management.
• Knowledge or exposure to industrial installation, commissioning, and maintenance is a plus.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools preferred.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work both in office and on industrial project sites.
