Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder Trainer to train students/trainees in welding techniques as per industry standards and the curriculum.

The trainer will be responsible for delivering theoretical knowledge, practical demonstrations, and hands-on training while ensuring safety and quality standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct classroom sessions on welding principles, processes, tools, and safety practices.
• Deliver practical training on various welding techniques (e.g., Arc Welding, MIG, TIG, Gas Welding, etc.).
• Train candidates on reading and interpreting welding symbols, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards during training activities.
• Prepare training plans, session notes, and assessment material as per curriculum guidelines.
• Monitor trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Conduct assessments
• Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and consumables in working condition.
• Keep records of trainee attendance, progress, and certification details.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in welding technology and industry practices.

Required Qualifications

Educational:

• ITI / Diploma in Welding / Mechanical / Fabrication or higher qualification in relevant field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of industry experience in welding (fabrication, construction, or manufacturing sector).
• Prior experience as a trainer/instructor preferred but not mandatory (training of trainers can be provided).

Certifications:

• NSDC/SSC certified Trainer/Assessor (if applicable).
• Additional welding certifications (e.g., ASME, AWS, ISO) will be an advantage.

Skills Required

• Strong technical knowledge of welding processes, materials, and tools.
• Good communication and presentation skills (Tamil & English Languages as applicable).
• Ability to engage and motivate trainees from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce them.
• Practical problem-solving and hands-on demonstration skills.

Work Environment

• Location: Training Centers / Project Sites in the state of Tamil Nadu
• Working Conditions: Workshop/lab with welding equipment, exposure to fumes, heat, and light (safety gear provided).

Salary:

• As per Industry Standards
