We are launching a brand-new, modern training center in Abu Dhabi and seek an experienced, entrepreneurial Training Center Experience Manager to lead the operational launch and establish all service standards. This is a critical, hands-on role requiring a leader capable of setting up processes, managing facility readiness, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for our very first trainees.
Your most immediate and crucial mandate will be to drive and maintain full ACTVET compliance across all center operations and facilities from the ground up.
What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities
1. ACTVET Setup & Compliance (Crucial)
- Lead Compliance Establishment: Work directly with senior management to finalize the center's operational readiness for initial ACTVET licensing and inspections.
- Process Development: Design, document, and implement all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the center, covering everything from facility safety to trainee data management, ensuring all protocols align with ACTVET regulations.
- Inspection Readiness: Prepare all necessary documentation, conduct pre-inspection checks, and act as the primary point of contact during official ACTVET audits and inspections.
2. Operational & Facility Launch
- Facility Activation: Manage the physical setup of the center, including ensuring all classrooms, labs, and common areas are fully furnished, equipped, and operational for course launch.
- Logistics Management: Establish vendor relationships (e.g., cleaning, maintenance, security) and coordinate initial service contracts.
- Resource Planning: Manage the inventory, procurement, and setup of all training materials, IT equipment, and administrative supplies before the first cohort begins.
3. Trainee Experience & Engagement
- Define Standards: Develop and introduce the "trainee journey" standards, focusing on high-quality service and a professional learning atmosphere from day one.
- Launch Orientation: Design and deliver the initial orientation program for our first cohorts of trainees.
- Feedback Loop: Establish systems for collecting early trainee feedback to quickly iterate and optimize the experience.
Qualifications
Required (Must-Haves)
- Launch Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role within a training center, educational institute, or service environment, with proven experience in new facility opening or operational setup.
- Mandatory Compliance Experience: Proven experience and solid knowledge base regarding ACTVET regulations, inspection requirements, and quality assurance standards in Abu Dhabi.
- Proactive & Hands-on: Must be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and taking direct responsibility for both strategic planning and daily execution.
- Soft Skills: Superior organizational, documentation, and communication skills (English and Arabic fluency is a strong advantage).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field.
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)
- Direct experience in successfully launching or operating a vocational training center in the UAE.
- Experience with Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.
- Established vendor contacts in Abu Dhabi for facility services.
