Job Summary Our client is looking for a Technical Trainer who designs, develops, and delivers IT Training through a variety of channels including classroom, CBT, and seminars.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Trainer to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, hybrid, and is a contract position.

What You'll Do:
Learn and master HASTUS to provide ongoing support to Digital Modernization (DM) and the Bus & Rail Scheduling Operations teams

Design, develop, and deliver technical training across multiple formats, including classroom, video, CBTs, and seminars

Create training materials such as presentations, manuals, videos, and online resources (CBTs)

Assess the effectiveness of HASTUS training using evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics; make necessary content adjustments

Collaborate with subject matter experts, DM teams, and HR/Payroll to ensure training aligns with organizational goals and operational needs

Identify and resolve training‑related issues

Communicate and explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely

What You'll Need

Required:
10+ years developing and designing technical training content

10+ years delivering technical systems training

10+ years in curriculum development and technical training execution

8+ years developing training materials such as manuals, presentations, videos, and CBTs

2+ years of experience with transit scheduling & daily operations systems (e.g., Trapeze or HASTUS)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Strong understanding of technical subject matter and relevant technologies

Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

Ability to break down and explain complex technical concepts clearly

Ability to identify training needs and troubleshoot training‑related issues

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$35.50 - $40.50 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
