Role Purpose:
Conduct training needs analyses by reviewing job profiles and collaborating with managers to identify performance gaps that can be addressed through training. This role is responsible for designing and delivering structured training interventions, induction programs, and capability-building initiatives, while supporting continuous performance improvement efforts to enhance employee skills and contribute to operational excellence, safety, and quality standards.
Key Accountabilities:

Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in collaboration with line managers to identify skill and knowledge gaps.

Coordinate with trainers and employees to schedule programs in alignment with the annual training calendar.

Ensure all training materials and resources are developed, updated, and readily available prior to program delivery.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date training records in the learning management database to support compliance, audits, and reporting requirements.

Monitor, track, and report training KPIs to management, providing insights on program effectiveness and areas for improvement.

Liaise with external training providers to ensure offerings align with ASD’s annual training plan.

Support the performance improvement process by coordinating with managers on employee Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), ensuring timely evaluations and corrective actions.

Design and deliver engaging induction programs tailored to different employee levels and functions.

Facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires to ensure a clear understanding of company culture, policies, procedures, and role-specific requirements.

Continuously review and enhance induction content to strengthen employee engagement and reduce early attrition.

Prepare and submit periodic reports on training delivery, participation rates, cost analysis, and KPI achievement.

Provide data-driven insights on training effectiveness, including outcomes from pre- and post-training evaluations.
