Transport Foreman

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Transport Foreman to manage vehicle breakdowns, roadside assistance, garage operations, and maintenance activities for our transport fleet. The successful candidate will ensure that vehicles are repaired efficiently, downtime is minimized, and all maintenance work is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and coordinate vehicle breakdowns on the road.
• Arrange pick-up and recovery of breakdown vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate repairs.
• Supervise mechanics and technicians in the garage.
• Allocate daily repair and maintenance jobs.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
• Monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with drivers regarding vehicle issues and breakdowns.
• Maintain records of repairs, spare parts, and maintenance history.
• Ensure availability of required spare parts and workshop tools.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before releasing vehicles for operation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and workshop procedures.
• Minimize vehicle downtime and improve fleet availability.
• Report major mechanical issues and maintenance status to management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet maintenance, transport, or garage operations.
• Strong knowledge of trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles.
• Experience in roadside breakdown assistance and vehicle recovery.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and supervise repairs.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance records and reporting.
• Knowledge of transport industry safety standards.

• Male candidates only.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence (Mandatory).
• Experience in transport fleet maintenance, roadside breakdown assistance, and garage operations.
• Good knowledge of trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and attend emergency breakdowns.
• Salary: AED 2,500 per month + Company Accommodation
• Working Hours:
• Regular working hours as per company schedule.
• The position requires flexibility. In the event of a vehicle breakdown, the foreman must be available to attend emergency roadside assistance outside normal working hours when required.

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
