Transportation Coordinator

Position: Transportation Coordinator

Salary : 4000-5000 AED

Location: Abu Dhabi

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods and materials, including route planning, scheduling, and tracking shipments
• Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
• Monitor and maintain transportation equipment, including trucks, trailers, and other vehicles, to ensure they are in good working condition
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including fuel usage, mileage, and delivery times
• Prepare and analyze transportation reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation service providers to negotiate competitive rates and ensure quality service
• Train and supervise transportation staff, including drivers and assistants, to ensure adherence to company standards and safety regulations
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to identify and implement best practices for efficient transportation operations
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation coordination
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management software
• Fluency in English and Hindi, both written and spoken
• Valid driver's license.
