Basic Function
The Transportation Operations Supervisor at Jadeer Logistics Services Company plays a pivotal role in supervising daily transportation activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely movement of goods across regions. This role directly supports the company’s goal of operational excellence and customer satisfaction by ensuring the optimal utilization of fleet assets, reducing delays, and maintaining compliance with all transport regulations.
This position is closely aligned with the department’s objectives of asset optimization, downtime reduction, driver performance management, and delivery efficiency, in addition to contributing to cost control, regulatory compliance, and service reliability—all core to Jadeer's mission in the logistics sector.
Duties And Responsibilities

Supervise daily transportation operations, including driver assignments, route planning, load verification, and vehicle dispatch.

Monitor driver performance, vehicle tracking systems (telematics), and ensure adherence to safety, speed, and delivery standards.

Act as the primary contact between operations, maintenance, customer support, and planning teams to ensure smooth handover of transport orders.

Ensure all transportation activities comply with internal SOPs, legal regulations (traffic, GACA, MOT, etc.), and HSE standards.

Track fleet availability and coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive servicing, minimizing vehicle downtime.

Monitor delivery schedules, respond to route deviations or emergencies, and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Assist in incident/accident reporting and resolution, ensuring proper documentation and communication with concerned departments.

Support the Fleet Manager in data collection for KPI tracking (on-time delivery, fuel efficiency, driver violations, etc.).

Conduct toolbox talks, driver briefings, and ensure drivers are well-versed in assigned routes and cargo handling requirements.

Verify trip records, fuel receipts, and delivery documentation for billing and audit readiness.
Education And Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field.

Certifications in Transport Operations, HSE, or Fleet Management are a plus
Professional Experience

4–6 years of experience in transportation or logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Proven track record in managing drivers, dispatch operations, and fleet scheduling in a high-volume logistics environment.
Skills And Attributes

Proficient in transport management systems (TMS), GPS tracking tools, and ERP modules.

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to transportation, safety, and vehicle documentation.
